Edgemont Senior Living understands the importance of involving the community in its proposal to build a seniors’ residence in Edgemont Village.
Feedback from the community has already led to significant modifications in what was initially proposed. The proposed height of the building height was reduced from four to three stories, and the number of suites from 135 to 125. The number of parking stalls was increased from the municipal requirement of 0.33 stalls per suite to 0.46 stalls per suite, resulting in an increase in the number of stalls from 41 to 57.
Once the detailed rezoning application has been made, a Developer Information Meeting will be held. Should District Council agree to proceeding with the rezoning application, a Public Hearing will then be held, as required by the District.
